Terms of service

General information

Disc Tree ApS, CVR no.: 42040134. Our full contact details are set out in our Contact information.

Payment

You can pay with the payment methods shown at checkout. The selection depends on which country you are shopping from and typically includes payment cards (VISA and Mastercard), Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. In some countries, local payment methods such as MobilePay are also offered. The methods available to you are always shown at checkout.

Payment is only deducted from your account when the item is shipped.

Prices

Prices are shown in the local currency for the country you are shopping from, and all amounts include VAT unless otherwise stated. The currency and the amount shown at checkout are what apply to the purchase.

We make every effort to ensure that prices and currency are always displayed correctly in our webshop. Prices displayed outside our webshop, for example on price comparison services, marketplaces, social media or in advertisements, are supplied via product feeds and updated by each individual platform. We have no control over when, or whether, those prices are updated, so they may be out of date, displayed in the wrong currency or otherwise incorrect. Prices displayed outside our webshop are not binding on us. The price at checkout in our webshop is what applies to the purchase.

We cannot sell an item at the displayed figure in a currency other than the one the price is actually set in, as the currencies do not have the same value. If an item priced at 10 EUR has been displayed as 10 kr., for example, we cannot sell it for 10 kr., as the two amounts are nowhere near equivalent.

The same applies to obvious pricing errors. If a price is so clearly wrong that you as a buyer ought to have realised it was a mistake, for example if a digit is missing so that an item priced at 300 is displayed as 30, Disc Tree reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the amount paid in full. We will always contact you before cancelling an order for this reason.

If you are in any doubt about a price, you are welcome to contact us via the chat on this page before ordering.

Delivery

Our delivery terms, including delivery times, shipping prices and shipping options, are set out in our Shipping policy.

Special delivery conditions apply to certain goods. The conditions will appear specifically prior to the purchase of these goods.

Right of complaint

A 2-year right of complaint is granted in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Our right of complaint applies to defects in material and/or manufacturing. You can have the item repaired, exchanged, the money refunded or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation. The right of complaint does not apply to faults or damage caused by incorrect handling of the product/service. You must complain within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect/fault. Disc Tree ApS will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

Read more about your right of complaint on the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority's website.

Always contact us before you send an item back to us. The return address and the detailed conditions for returning are set out in our Refund policy.

News and arrivals with a fixed release time

New items from various manufacturers are released on an ongoing basis in the webshop with fixed publication/release times. If a customer succeeds in adding one of these items to the basket and completing a payment with one of these items before the release time, the disc may be removed from the order or the order deleted entirely without notice.

An item at release is not reserved for a customer until it has been paid for at checkout. An item is therefore not reserved because it is in the basket.

Images of discs in the webshop

We strive to ensure that the images of our discs are accurate, and that the images show the plastic colour you actually receive when you buy the product. Some manufacturers use several different stamp colours (printed motif) on the same colour of disc, and it cannot always be guaranteed that the exact stamp colour shown in an image is also the one delivered. We update our images on an ongoing basis so that they always show the correct plastic and, when possible, also the correct stamp colour. Stamp colour varies to a greater degree on ordinary discs (stock discs), and on these stock discs in particular, deviations in the colour of the stamp from the images shown may occur.

Refund

In the case of a refund, please enclose bank details in the form of registration number and account number so that the agreed amount can be transferred. The information can be provided without risk by e-mail or other electronic form, as it is not sensitive information and will only be used for our fulfilment of the refund.

Right of return

There is a 14-day full right of return on items purchased in our webshop. The conditions for returning, including deadlines, the condition of the item, costs and risk, are set out in our Refund policy.

Use of discount codes

As a rule, Disc Tree does not offer individual discounts and does not permit the use of automatic discount code apps and similar for the automatic use of discount codes. All discount codes issued by Disc Tree are personal and/or allocated to clubs in connection with a collaboration unless otherwise clearly stated. Disc Tree reserves the right to cancel orders that unlawfully use a discount code which the recipient is not entitled to use.

Goods exempt from the right of withdrawal

The following types of goods are not covered by the right of withdrawal:
- Goods manufactured to the consumer's specifications or which have been given a clear personal touch. This includes clothing or discs with print in the form of a motif, or a name or number determined by the customer.
- Sealed goods which, for health protection or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return and where the seal has been broken after delivery.
- Goods which, due to their nature, become inseparably mixed with others upon delivery.
- Goods where the seal has been broken.
- Non-financial services performed, if the provision of the service has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal ceases when the service has been fully performed. This includes events and teaching.
- Delivery of digital content not supplied on a physical medium, if performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
- Newspapers, periodicals or magazines, with the exception of subscription agreements for such publications.
- Agreements entered into at a public auction.
- Goods that deteriorate or become obsolete quickly.

Repayment

If you withdraw from your purchase, you will of course get the amount you have paid to us back.

In the event of a deterioration in value for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount.

When the right of withdrawal is exercised, all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding additional costs resulting from your choice of a form of delivery other than the cheapest form of standard delivery that we offer), will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notice of your decision to exercise the right of withdrawal. Repayment is made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the item back, unless you have provided documentation of having returned it before then.
